Summer Binge

22 May

Summer is almost here! And you know what summer means. Lazy days at the beach, lounging by the pool with a good book, long walks outside.

Oh, wait. I work in an office, so I’ll spend every summer week the same way I spend every other week – in my office.

And I live in Southern California, so the weather is perfect for beach days and long walks all year. Okay, so what’s different about summer? I’m so glad you asked.

Yes, the most important thing of all. Magical, wonderful, television. You see, summer is when most shows take their hiatus, freeing up a considerable amount of my DVR time. And what am I going to do with all of that time?

Well, I could reread great works of literature. Or learn a new language. Maybe develop a new skill. Or, and this is the one I like the best, I could binge watch television!

You see, my dears, I will spending the summer binge watching and catching up on all the magical television I haven’t seen yet. It’s going to be amazing.

Here’s what’s on my list:

Once Upon a Time
Orange is the New Black
Game of Thrones
The Blacklist
The Americans
Agents of SHIELD

Of course, I won’t get to all of these, and I may abandon some if I’m not into them. These are the shows I haven’t seen yet but have heard good things about. Meaning, people on my Twitters are always going on about them. So I figure I’ll give them a whirl. A summer fling, if you will.

What’s on your summer catch up list? Is there anything I’m missing?
