So, here’s the obligatory BlogHer ’12 recap post, chock full of my own personal opinions that really should be taken with a grain of salt. As always.
Geek Bar Media Kits with Marcy Massura. I love Marcy, and her session was beyond helpful. I loved it, even if she did give me homework.
Come As You Are with Aiming Low and the Mouthy Housewives. I finally got to meet Wendi Aarons in person! Woo hoo! Plus, Robin Plemmons looked deep into my soul and wrote an affirmation on my arm. And then, of course, there were the peanut butter cake pops. They were amazing, and I could have eaten 17 of them. I didn’t though, I only had one. Mostly because they were out by the time I finished my first one.
Breakfast with Marcy on Sunday morning. This is partly because it was the only actual meal I ate all weekend, partly because I got to have pancakes and miso soup at the same meal, and mostly because of the great company.

I got to meet Badgley and Mishka!
This picture has nothing to do with anything, but it’s the outfit I work to Sparklecorn and I look super-skinny, so I’m posting it. Because that’s just how I roll.
I finally met Cheryl (Tidymom) in person after knowing her for a lot of years. And when I say “a lot of years”, I mean it. We tried to figure it out, and the closest we could get was that we’ve known each other for between 8 and 10 years. Yeah, that’s right, a decade. We met on a message board before either of us ever started blogging, so it was great to finally get to hug her!
I got to meet Natalie from Life on the Mama Track and fell in love with her sweet baby. I’m not one for babies, and I really don’t see them ever or spend any time with them, but little Elizabeth was special. That baby already knows that flattery will get you everywhere, and she won me over with her flirty smiles. Well played, Elizabeth, well played.
I met far too many fabulous people to list here, and got to spend time with even more great people I already knew.
Best of all? I took yesterday off work to nap, snuggle with The Bear, rest my feet, and recover.
