The Post That Wasn’t
15 Feb
Today is the linky for the Crafterminds Trend Challenge, and I made a kick ass, uber-trendy craft (if I do say so myself). So where is that delicious and creative endeavor? Good question.
It all started on Sunday. I had finished my project, and took advantage of the few minutes of natural light to snap some pictures. I was so proud of myself for finally being ahead of the curve and not waiting until the last minute.
Flash forward to last night, when I had once again waited until the last minute to get the pictures off my camera and edit them and write my post.
This is where I should probably add that I’ve been shooting with a six year old Kodak point and shoot. It’s alright, I guess, and it kind of gets the job done. But last night, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a Canon EOS Rebel T2i.

I think my Kodak must have known that it would be history in 3-5 business days, because it died a horrible death. I have no idea what’s wrong with it, other than it died and took my pictures with it. I suppose it wanted to go out in a blaze of glory.
So the point of this story is that I have no crafty post for today (boo), but by next week I’ll have a shiny new camera (woo hoo).
You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and then you have, the facts of life. (I dare you not to have that song stuck in your head for the rest of the day. You’re welcome.)

oh. that is the prettiest camera i have ever seen. i’m sorry your kodak busted but holy upgrade, batman!
I’ve been wanting to order it for AGES – it kept taunting me from my Amazon cart. I think it’s so ironic that not thirty minutes after I work up the never to hit “order”, that damn point and shoot dies. :p
Aw, I am sorry to hear that your old Kodak kicked the bucket! You picked great with a Rebel though! I’ve heard wondrous things about that camera! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!
